Creamy Macaroni & Cheese

This classic mac and cheese is a staple in any family kitchen. The BebeLait powder dissolves seamlessly into the cheese sauce, adding nutrition without changing the beloved flavor.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup (100g) macaroni pasta
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon plain flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 scoops BebeLait PediaGain Vanilla
  • ½ cup grated cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons extra grated cheese for topping

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni according to package directions and drain thoroughly
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan, remove from heat, and stir in flour
  3. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly
  4. Return to medium heat, keep stirring until the sauce boils, then simmer 2-3 minutes
  5. Stir in BebeLait powder and cheese until melted and smooth
  6. Combine sauce with the cooked macaroni
  7. Pour into a greased oven-safe dish
  8. Top with breadcrumbs and extra cheese
  9. Bake at 200°C for 5-10 minutes until golden and bubbling

Tips

Add steamed broccoli or peas for extra vegetables. For a smoother sauce, use a whisk instead of a spoon when adding the milk.
