Creamy Mashed Potatoes
These incredibly smooth and creamy mashed potatoes are the ultimate comfort side dish. A secret addition of BebeLait makes them even more nutritious for growing children.
Ingredients
- 500g potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 200g sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 2 tablespoons butter
- ¼ cup cream
- 2 scoops BebeLait PediaGain Vanilla
- Salt and white pepper to taste
- Fresh chives for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Boil potatoes and sweet potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes
- Drain well and return to the pot
- Add butter and mash until smooth
- Warm the cream slightly and dissolve BebeLait powder in it
- Gradually add the cream mixture, mashing and stirring to desired consistency
- Season with salt and white pepper
- Serve with a pat of butter and chives on top
Tips
For extra-smooth results, use a potato ricer instead of a masher. The sweet potato adds a naturally sweet flavor that children love and provides additional vitamins.
